Highlights: Milwaukee Gallery Night and Day Spring 2023

Frank Juárez

The Historic Third Ward Association hosts four (4) gallery night and day per year – January, April, July, and October. This quarterly event is centered on the visual arts, which is spread throughout the Historic Third Ward, Walker’s Point, East Town, and Around Town in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with 46 venues participating in this spring art event. Fridays tend to be the social event of the weekend whereas Saturday being a day where you can enjoy the art at your leisure.

The evening started with light attendance. As the evening went on, it got busier. I did see a few sold works sprinkled throughout the evening. Perhaps Saturday will bring more buyers and collectors. With only 4 hours of attending openings, I hit the ground running. I had an ambitious lineup of exhibitions to see and I knew I had to cut my visits short.

Below is how I started my Milwaukee Gallery Night experience.

If you happen to miss this one, the next one is scheduled for July 21 & 22, 2023.
