Rhinelander, WI – ArtStart invites the community to celebrate the opening of its Winter 2025 Exhibitions on Thursday, November 20, with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is free, casual, and open to all—a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and experience new works up close.
This season’s exhibitions highlight two artists who explore the beauty and complexity of the natural world through distinctly different media.
In With Age Comes Lines, textile artist M. René Iannarelli presents a body of work inspired by the rhythm and patterns of nature. Over her 44 years of manipulating fabric, Iannarelli has found endless inspiration in the color, texture, and movement of the environment around her. This exhibition celebrates her deep connection to the changing seasons, with a special emphasis on the expressive power of lines.
Nature Photographs by David Barnhill showcases a photographer who pushes beyond traditional landscape imagery. Barnhill’s thoughtful work challenges viewers to see the natural world in new and unexpected ways – revealing both its serenity and its wild imagination.
Both exhibitions will be on view November 20, 2025 through January 17, 2026.
ArtStart galleries are free and open to the public Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ArtStart is located at 68 S. Stevens Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
