Indiana Green Invitational is an annual group exhibition featuring 2-D and 3-D works by artists living and working in Wisconsin. The first Indiana Green was curated by Frank Juárez in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (2010) to recognize artists that supported him as an artist. What was supposed to be a one-year exhibition gradually grew into an annual exhibition gaining the attention of artists in Wisconsin. Since 2017, Indiana Green Invitational has been traveling across the state of Wisconsin with a new roster of artists. To date, it has featured 90 artists.
Every year Indiana Green Invitational introduces a diverse body of work by artists working from such as but not limited to: paintings, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking, installation, textiles, glass, and photography. This exhibition features works that are significant today in Wisconsin’s contemporary art landscape.
In 2023, Indiana Green Invitational expands to include artists from Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota.

Why Indiana Green?
The name Indiana Green originated from the 2010 inaugural exhibition. Indiana refers to the street that the venue was located on – Indiana Avenue. Green refers to the exhibition space that hosted it, which is Greenseed Studio and by happenstance the establishment that we went to after the reception was called the Green Room Pub.
