“Northern Moraine Spring Art Tour,” Three Day
Self-Guided Spring Art Tour
A Behind the Scenes Arts Experience at Area Artists’ Studios, Galleries, and Boutiques. Visit over 38 local artists tucked away in historic buildings, home studios, boutiques, galleries, and at the tour headquarters, “the Plymouth Arts Center” during our 2 nd Annual Northern Moraine Spring Art Tour. Last year’s premier event was so successful, that a third day “Sunday” has been added to the tour. Tour dates are: Friday and Saturday June 3 and 4, 2016 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, June 5 from 10am to 4pm. Admission for this Self Guided Art Tour is absolutely free! Plan on bringing a group of friends for an exciting weekend and meet artists working as painters, printmakers, potters, furniture makers; fiber, glass, metal and leather artists, photographers and more. These artists reflect some of the amazing creative talent available right in our own communities. Tour Maps are available now at the Plymouth Arts Center and at all venues and also online: www.plymoutharts.org.
The Northern Moraine Spring Art Tour is really a celebration of the visual arts and the creative process. The Plymouth Arts Center initiated this event to increase the visibility of the many fine artists working and living in the greater Sheboygan County area and to encourage an appreciation for the role that artists play in the vitality of our communities. For our visitors, it’s a rare opportunity for an up- close-and- personal arts experience, as some of the studios are only open to the public during this event. Several of the Artists will be demonstrating and most artists will have artwork for sale. Don’t miss it!
The Plymouth Arts Center, (presenting organization and tour headquarters) is located at 520 East Mill Street, Downtown Plymouth, WI. Look for brightly colored signs marking each of the 18 Art Tour sites in and out of town. For more information, please call the Arts Center at (920) 892-8409 or email: info@plymoutharts.org. The event is generously sponsored by Sargento Foods.
