Platteville, WI – Rountree Gallery presents ‘Re-Collection’ an exhibit of five artists curated by Mary Bergs of Benton, WI. The artists take inspiration from the artifacts and rich history of The Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums in Platteville, WI to explore ideas of organization, classification, material and geology. The works are a range of mixed media, photogravures, anthotypes, sculpture, collage and installations.

The artists are: Alyssa Baguss, Minneapolis MN; Mary Bergs, Benton WI; Heidi Dyas-McBeth, Platteville WI; Bernice Ficek-Swenson, Minneapolis MN; Bill Mitchell, Lancaster WI

Exhibit opens Thursday, April 29 through June 19, 2021 at the Rountree Gallery at 120 W. Main St. in Platteville, WI. The show is open every Thursday and Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A reception with the artists is Friday, April 30th from 4 – 7 p.m.

Rountree Gallery requires guests to wear a face covering and practice social distancing while visiting the gallery or at gallery events.
