Platteville, WI – Ripple Artspace invites the community to experience two new exhibitions featuring the work of Platteville artists David J. Meinhardt and Joanne Beisner, on display August 13 through September 26, 2026.
In the Main Gallery, David J. Meinhardt presents 3-D ETC., an engaging exhibition featuring 3-D photography, traditional photography, and mixed-media assemblage. Put on a complimentary pair of 3-D glasses and step into the fascinating world of 3-D photography. Be amazed by anaglyph images and stereopticon cards, and marvel as “phantograms” appear to rise from the page, creating remarkable visual illusions that delight the eye and spark the imagination. The exhibition also includes traditional photography and thought-provoking mixed-media assemblage and installation pieces.
The Upper Gallery features Pieces of Me by Joanne Beisner. This collection showcases Joanne’s work in a variety of media, inspired by her love of rocks and nature alongside whimsical creations made simply for the joy of creating. Together, the two exhibitions offer visitors a diverse and engaging artistic experience.
Join us for an Artist Reception on Friday, August 14, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Meet both artists, enjoy light refreshments, and explore their exhibitions. Visitors are also invited to an Artist Talk by David Meinhardt on Friday, September 25, from 6:00–7:00 p.m., where he will discuss the theory, techniques, and creative process behind his innovative 3-D photography.
Visitors of all ages are encouraged to experience these engaging exhibitions. Don’t forget to pick up your complimentary pair of 3-D glasses to fully experience 3-D ETC.
