This past weekend, Artdose magazine hosted Artdose Art Weekend. It kicked off the weekend with a meet-n-greet at URBANE. This 2-day art event brought people together to experience the creative culture of Sheboygan. In collaboration with Sheboygan Gallery Night organizers, Jen Balge (Chair City Media) and Tom Rauwerdink (Eighty AD) over 10 venues provided space for 20+ artists to display, sell, and to network. Throughout the weekend several activities took place such as a downtown mural walk with muralists Dale Knaak and Jessica Rassel, wheel throwing demonstration with ceramic artist Mike Carson, a photo hunt led by Pat Ryan Photography, and an artist talk/body casting workshop with Arts/Industry resident, Martha Poggioli, at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
