On July 25th, a small group of art enthusiasts and artists gathered at artless Bastard Gallery, 353 Main Avenue in downtown De Pere, for a tour and artist talk. The event began with an introduction from Frank Juarez, publisher, about the social club gatherings followed by an introduction, overview of the gallery and submission process from gallery owner, Alexis Arnold. The event concluded with an artist talk from Sie Sienna and Tamara McLean.
Artdose Magazine’s Social Club Gathering kicked off its community art initiative in April of 2019 as a way to bring people together to learn about and enjoy the visual arts in Wisconsin. It’s season starts in April and runs to the end of the year. Due to COVID-19, our 2020 programming is operating on a month-to-month basis working with each of our hosts.
